Smoke & Mirrors Returns Policy Online Purchases - Change of Mind
At Smoke + Mirrors Boutique we believe in providing you with high quality items and service. When purchasing online please select carefully by checking our size guides as our sizes are Australian sizing and description of each garment as we do not offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect fit.
If you are unsure, we are happy to provide additional photos and measurements via email or phone consultation. Please contact us via email info@smokeandmirrorsboutique.com.au for assistance.
However, we understand that purchasing online is difficult and you may not be happy with your garment; therefore we are happy to offer you an exchange or credit note (valid for 3 years) on the basis of the following returns policy:
- Only full price items are eligible for change of mind returns
- All returns must be pre-approved by emailing info@smokeandmirrorsboutique.com.au
- Australian customers: returns must be received back in-store by us within 7 days of delivery (we strongly recommend the use of express post)
- International customers must contact us within 48 hours of delivery to organise returns. Items must be express posted back to us in Australia
- For change of mind returns, postage is at the expense of the customer
- Items must be returned in original condition with tags attached, unworn, unwashed and not altered
- Jewellery, earrings, hats, and swimwear may not be returned due to hygiene reasons unless deemed faulty
- Smoke + Mirrors Boutique reserves the right to reject items which are not received in the same condition in which they were purchased
- If "Free Postage on orders over $400" or a shipping discount was used, a $10 shipping fee will be deducted from your credit
- All credit notes are less shipping and/or insurance paid at checkout
- We do not accept refunds or exchanges on sale items under our change of mind returns policy (this includes promotional discounts)
- If you have purchased an item with a known fault or as a second, it cannot be returned as faulty
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM:
Please email info@smokeandmirrorsboutique.com.au with your order number, full name, and product being returned. Please advise why you would like to return the item. Any items returned to us without authorisation will be deemed refused, and no credit or refund will be given. We will contact you to organise return postage to you.
FAULTY ITEMS - AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER GUARUNTEE
- If your item has been damaged in transit, please contact Australia Post. Please note that Australia Post will not allow us to contact them on your behalf.
- If the fault is not major we reserve the right to repair the item within a reasonable time.
- If the fault is major you may choose to receive either a refund or exchange (where size is available). A major fault is described as:
- A problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
- Is significantly different from the sample or description.
You may choose a refund order exchange if an item has a major problem. This is when the item:
- Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
- Is significantly different from the sample or description.
Please note: Smoke + Mirrors Boutique makes every effort to ensure photos and descriptions of products are accurate. Minor discrepancies between the colour of the actual item and digital photograph is not deemed to be different as described, or a fault. Colours display differently between screens and devices. We are happy to send additional photos of items upon request prior to purchase. An example of a major difference in colour would be receiving a red dress instead of a black dress.
